Want to take part in the new Knit the Season giveaway? It's fun -- and there are lots of prizes to win! There will be weekly winners who receive a signed book and limited edition tote bag. And then one lucky Grand Prize winner will receive a trip to Los Angeles, including coach flight and two nights of hotel. Plus, the Grand Prize winner and I will enjoy a lovely lunch together. The giveaway runs from November 2, 2010 -- the day that the paperback of Knit the Season goes on sale -- until January 7, 2011!

Here's a quick explanation of how to enter: Take a picture of the Knit the Season paperback - it could be your own copy, someone else's book, even an image from a website or a photo of the novel at the bookstore. (Think of the challenge as a photo safari - capturing pics of Knit the Season in the wild! - or like playing a version of a Flat Stanley game with my novel.) You can choose to be in the photo or not; you can take the snapshot with your home computer, camera, cellphone, whatever works.

Then simply upload your picture to Twitter with the hashtag #KnitTheSeason or to Flickr with the tag KnitTheSeason. You'll be automatically entered! But remember: the only way your entry can be found is IF you add a KnitTheSeason tag at Flickr (note there are no spaces between the words in the title) or Twitter hashtag #KnitTheSeason (which means there is the number symbol/pound sign and no spaces between the words in the title). So don't forget that you MUST add your tag or hashtag!
