Hello! I’m so excited to reach out and tell you about my new novel. Because I delightedly returned to the world of the Walker and Daughter knitting shop for the sequel Knit Two: A Friday Night Knitting Club Novel. The writing process felt as though I was going to a reunion and seeing a dear group of old friends. Only I didn’t have to worry about what I was going to wear! The experience was warmly familiar and yet, as crafting a novel always is, filled with surprises. My goal with Knit Two was create a fun and engaging read, the kind of novel to enjoy over a muffin or two, and to answer some of the questions left from the first book. To look at how our experiences – positive and negative – shape who we become. To explore how we fall into patterns, some good and some less so, and how our past can both enrich our lives and make us fearful of moving forward. To honor the stresses and joys of being mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. I have been fortunate to receive such enthusiasm and support for The Friday Night Knitting Club from the knitting community and from readers, and for that I am forever grateful. So many of you have shared your stories with me about how this club – and its group of strong, smart, funny women – is just like you and your friends. Right now seemed like the perfect time to share the story I carried in my imagination, and Knit Two is truly stitched together with love. I do hope you’ll take a peek! All best wishes,
